As the new school year is on the horizon, there are so many things to do! Keeping up with due dates, events, and to-do lists is hard. But how will you organize yourself?

What do I need to help organize myself for the new year?

Getting a planner is a must! With your planner, you can keep track of extracurriculars, tests coming up, events, important school dates, holidays, and more! You can also add to-do lists to keep up with your homework.

What type of planner do I use?

There are many different types of planners.

One of my favorite physical planners is an academic planner that is dedicated specifically to the school year. For example, it has months from July 2021 to June 2022, right when school starts and ends. In these planners, there are monthly, weekly, and daily pages for you to use. You can purchase these at your local office supplies or stationery store.

There are also many different free apps such as Google Calendar, Todoist, and Any.do. I use Notion, an app that allows you to customize and create a planner dedicated to your whole life. With Notion, you can create things like calendars and weekly plans along with a personal journal and goals for the year.

I hope these tips help! Have a great start to your school year!
